Marianne Schmidt, now in her 80s, has lived in the same house since she was five. Originally from China, her family moved to San Francisco before settling in Vancouver. Over the years, she’s traveled the world, attending World Expos, yet she can now be found dancing in dive bars in Vancouver.

Marianne embodies the essence of abundance. She’s lived a life rich in experiences, kindness, and joy. She’s tried everything, been generous to everyone, and continues to radiate a childlike joy that reminds us that abundance isn’t just about what you have—it’s about how you live, give, and embrace each moment.

This ongoing project, titled Abundance, captures Marianne’s life philosophy and will be featured in Found You Magazine(Kolton Proctor, CAN).
